This is my blog – no one else’s see, mine all mine and I am the genius author of the best selling book “Getting Out – Excerpts from a Cat’s Diary,” which has been described not only by me as a masterpiece.

There are now a few imitations I have noticed creeping into the web but yours truly is the original and best!

    • Such a nice post thanks, it is so good to hear from you.

If your furball has fleas and he is a bit on the young side the best thing to do is to give him a wash – you don’t necessarily need to use shampoo though if you have a little baby shampoo and I mean a little that’s fine.

Washing or just dipping your kitten into water is in fact much safer than using fleaspray on a kitten, there are special kitten fleasprays but most flea sprays for Cats can harm kittens and in some rare cases have caused serious health problems and worse.

Cats sometimes enjoy a wash though not always, but and this is the important bit, fleas hate water and will run away from it as you dip your youngster into the water.

As the unwelcome visitors run away from the water they will usually stop at the nose, simply get someone to hold your little one and then grab the fleas and click them between your fingernails (that has to be done because the little blighters are very strong).

Don’t let them escape because they fleas can live away from a host for a few weeks until another host comes along. If you wash little one every other week your kitten will be free from fleas – a good way to check is to part the dry fur and if there are black crunchy flecks then your furball has fleas or of course if he or she scratches a lot.

If you keep washing your kitten beyond kittenhood and into adulthood it’s likely that you will be able to keep him or her free from fleas without using nasty and very strong chemical sprays.

Grammar and spelling are as usual fine. I was am so proud of Victoria considering the dreadful circumstances tell her to keep on keeping on.

      Have a wonderful week.
