About the Author

The Cat Portrait2

The Cat is one of the most successful feline authors in the history of Catkind. His sharp elegant wit has produced the bestselling book ‘Getting Out – Excerpts from a Cat’s Diary’ and of course the much plagiarised gag of the same name which appears on all of the funniest joke sites on the internet.

Copies of the Cat’s masterpiece of feline literature ‘Getting Out – Excerpts from a Cat’s Diary’ and his latest wonderful book ‘The Cat’s Travelogue’ can be purchased at a bookstore near you or from the internet at Amazon.com and here for the Travelogue The Cat’s Travelogue Paperback Edition or at what The Cat calls his www – wickedly wonderful website here www.thecatsdiary.com where you can not only learn more about me the genius Cat but also play my games they are all paw picked by me and have been described as “exactly what free on-line games should be, fun, free and fantastic.”

I would like to tell you all about something new and rather nice that you can get from the Apple iBooks store, no not ‘Getting Out – Excerpts from a Cat’s Diary’ and his latest wonderful book you have been able to get that for ages, no something else rather wonderful. 1. Hmmm looks like a hardwood to me. :p

    • Oh thanks for that. I do love learning from an expert!

      • Hahaha

      • I do like making you laugh!

      • You do have ways with pictures!

      • What can I say! I am a very visual sort of Cat! Hope your Xmas prep is forging ahead. Here we have most of the stuff that will keep already, just meat and vegetables to get next week.

Christmas lunch will be the usual, Lena adores Roast Beef and Yorkshire Puddings so every year since we have been together we have that for Xmas lunch, then the next day Roast Beef sandwiches and then a few days later Cold Turkey sandwiches with Chips (french fries which of course were invented in Belgium).

Just after Christmas we are visiting Pilsen to see a friend, she came here from Russia when she was 16 to go to the University of Bohemia and we took care of her while she passed exam after exam, in wait for it Mathematics which to my way of thinking is a strange and wonderful science totally beyond me :0)

She is 22 now has a husband, a baby and a flat, it’s wonderful to watch people grow and do well especially when they come form challenging backgrounds, and goodness don’t I know what that was like>

        Happy Christmas my dear friend,

        Purrs,

        The Cat

      • The art program I use makes math fun 😘 JWildfire.org is the page if you or her would like to scope it out.

I’m foraging forward with surgery on January 11th for my shoulder. It has been a long time coming they say, but for the best. It has been hurting me sometime now so I’ll get it fixed.

A very Happy Christmas to you and the family, please do send my love.

      • Thank you for the art program link, I will definitely forward it to Yulia and have a look myself.

Good news that your surgery is approaching, I hope it all goes well and that you are able to start playing baseball etc., very soon afterwards. It’s terrible to be in pain. As we get more mature the aches and pains and whatnot appear don’t they. I have tinnitus in one ear which is annoying, especially as I am also getting deafer and people have to repeat what they say all often.

Add that the the rest and I’m surprised I am still around I am now the oldest member of my family for three generations! Gulp, so ‘borrowed time’ might be the way to best describe my situation har ha.

I sent your love to all, it’s returned of course. Have a great Christmas and a much better New Year than you have had in a long while.

        Purrs,

        The Cat

  2. Omg..lol
