As all of my loyal and rather wonderful readers know, I do like signs, yes I know it’s a silly hobby for a Cat collecting signs and then posting on a blog, but then hey, it keeps me out of trouble and of course in my opinion signs tend to explain the human race in a way that no other media can.

Take for instance how a simple message from a rather bossy office worker can be used to demonstrate exactly what you think of the author.

About the Author

The Cat Portrait2

The Cat is one of the most successful feline authors in the history of Catkind. His sharp elegant wit has produced the bestselling book ‘Getting Out – Excerpts from a Cat’s Diary’ and of course the much plagiarised gag of the same name which appears on all of the funniest joke sites on the internet.

Copies of the Cat’s masterpiece of feline literature ‘Getting Out – Excerpts from a Cat’s Diary’ and his latest wonderful book ‘The Cat’s Travelogue’ can be purchased at a bookstore near you or from the internet at and here for the Travelogue The Cat’s Travelogue Paperback Edition or at what The Cat calls his www – wickedly wonderful website here where you can not only learn more about me the genius Cat but also play my games they are all paw picked by me and have been described as “exactly what free on-line games should be, fun, free and fantastic.”

  1. This one made mum giggle… she’d love to write a long wordy comment but somehow she’s come into contact with some marmalade and no matter how many time she unsticks herself it appears again… so she’s off to hunt the marmalade. BOL she’s also rather partial to ‘signage’ and likes laminating the ones she makes!

    • I am glad that I managed to make your Mum giggle. rather worried about both the phantom Marmalade and the laminating! More worried about the laminating to be honest!

Always a pleasure to hear from you my poochie pal. Stay well and may you find many muddy puddles even though it is “hotter that Tunisia!” According to the Daily Mail! And they write the ‘truth’ at all times don’t they!
