Seems like a nice lady really

Well what an unfortunate book title. I’m sure that Mrs. Eleanor Burns is a nice upstanding member of the community who just happens to have a rather odd hobby which she has been vigorously and enjoyably pursuing for 25 years or so!

Bless her! More power to her G-String that’s what I say! We need more ladies like Mrs. Eleanor Burns, but obviously not plying their hobby in public.

  1. Hello stranger sorry not been around much I am recovering from an operation. hope your well x

    • It is great to hear from you. I hope you have recovered fully. Actually it is funny you ask, I have been rather poorly myself and very nearly croaked it completely two weeks ago. Since then I have been resting, not easy with a 15 month old who thinks that the floor is for anyone but her.

Add that to the fact that Evelyn hates the pushchair and requires carrying in one of those body hugging and melting carry thingys and you can see why I get rather tired.

Still I am much better now and plan to stay that way. I used to get these sort of attacks every four years and then they stopped, but then came back with a vengeance. I had to laugh the last time I had one in England I went straight the the doctor ther very next day, she was a Spanish locum and not that old. She did a test where you shove loads of little perfume tester things into a bottle of something that was previously inside yours truly and was shocked with the result. She said it appeared that I had “everything and really aught to be dead!”

Well I don’t need to tell you just how bad the healthcare in the UK is. There was no follow up. No rush to a hospital. Actually that was probably just as well as I was a single parent at the time with a six year old to look after.

Still a lack of treatment worked until the latest attack, since then I have experienced once again the impressive power and scope of the Czech healthcare system. What a good job I live here and they go around wishing that had the NHS.

Still never mind in the next few years Cameron and the other Buffington Boys will have got rid of that.

      Have a great weekend!

      Purrs,

      The Cat
