Happy Birthday to my translator   11 comments

It’s John’s birthday today and as most people seem to have forgotten the poor old devil (unlike my birthday when cards, presents and best of all cash arrive by the sackful). I thought I would make him a cake to go with my present, I bought him a leather bookmark for his Kindle, tee hee!

In addition to cheer him up I made him a cake, I hope he likes purple icing, purple is my favourite colour, who knows what it might be tomorrow.

What do you think?

Amazing isn’t it!

  1. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you… happy birthday Translator John, happy birthday to you….. woof woof woof!!!
Yes, I’m always late so even though I thought about it yesterday I thought I’d do my usual ‘belated’ thing. Hope you all had a very nice day.

    • You are so very kind. Being late has it’s benefits, for example if you had been on time you couldn’t have done your ‘belated’ thing. So please keep up the good work. Do Teagans get birthdays? If so I would like to send you greetings at least a day before tee hee.

My day was great and I got a nice blingking fast iPad Air, that any rapper would be proud to wear between his teeth, or draped down the front of his Nike tshirt on a rope made of gold.

There’s a hint to the colour of the iPad in the last word of the last sentence for those who are a little, how can I put this nicely… oh dear I can’t, so please delete the word that you think doesn’t afford a proper description “Royal” or “Slow” oops I don’t think neither should be deleted! Har ha ha!

      • Yes indeed, Teagans most certainly do get birthdays. Mine is on the 29th April. I had a big party for all my friends on my 1st birthday (which you can see on my blog)… and am still waiting for another party. I have a feeling that my 7th birthday may be a good one.
Pickle’s birthday is September 18th if you’d like to put that on your calendar… she’s only a cat so it’s highly unlikely she’ll get a party because she hasn’t got any cat friends to invite.

      • Excellent! I have added both very important dates into my calendar.

In the calendar you are both ‘purple’ as I may have mentioned it’s my favourite colour at the moment especially for cake icing. Agreed seven is a good age and deserves a party. I do think that Pickle deserves a party, or maybe you could have a joint one. No? Well then it has to be one each! You could drum up some friends for her, just leave a side of Salmon and a bucket of Prawns on the doorstep the night before and you’ll be knee deep in Cats… promise!

Save most of the Prawns for me though! You don’t have a swimming pool do you? If you do have one I have an ambition that involves a swimming pool (empty) and a jumbo jet loaded with Prawns.

I adore your blog, but being a bit Spangle myself didn’t read or remember the party blog sadly.

  2. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you…. Happy Birthday Translator John, Happy Birthday to you…. meow meow meow!!!
Hope you had a purrrfect day xxx Pickle the cat xxx

    • Pickle you are so kind thank you. It was ever so nice and I feel so special mainly because you and your pal Teagan remembered my birthday. Did you have to tell the poor old Spangle it was my birthday? He must be getting on now and maybe a bit forgetful. I know us Cats start to get forgetful and sometimes even honk a bit when we get old and I know it’s worse for Dogs!!!!! Especially ones who have spent a lot of their time up to their chins in farmland puddles.

      Poor you, you must suffer!

      • Excuse me! I’m letting her borrow my WP login to comment so I get to check what she says. Calling me an old Spangle?? I’m a young spritely thing and I’m a girl, female, b*tch, whatever you wish… but most definitely not a boy.
Hey, get off Teagan, it’s my turn. I’m going to be 2 in September… and I’m hoping for Tuna.
Yes, I do agree that the dog does get rather muddy & stinky sometimes but then so do I… as you know I am all for this #bemoredog and I love running up the field amongst the horses and splish splashing around in the mud.

      • Teagan you’re all heart! Oh dear the idea of splishing sounds a bit beyond me and as for splashing I have a feeling my days for that sort of thing are over.

And Teagan I know you are a girl, don’t like the bitch word when describing a pal though. Did I mistakenly call you a boy? Hope not. I know when Teagans are dry they can be a bit touchy har ha.
