Ah Seville’s Winter Sunshine   6 comments

I like Seville. Sadly I didn’t get to go there when I was writing my Travelogue, but then if you have read my Travelogue you’ll know that I didn’t get to go to many places that I liked, in my defence I was unlucky and worse had no control over the travel arrangements whatsoever.

Seville, if you haven’t been is a great place.

Talking of ‘going’ here is a sign which I thought I would share with you from a Sevillian (and yar-boo-sucks to the spellchecker that doesn’t like the word “Sevillian” just get over to will you and understand that computers aren’t as clever as Cats in some instances thank you).

Now where was I, oh yes Seville and the sign I wanted to share with you, gosh this takes me back, me interrupting myself and then interrupting the interruption, sounds just like my wonderfully successful (thank you dear cuddly readers) book ‘Getting Out – Excerpts from a Cat’s Diary).

Anyway here is the sign.

As you might expect I have some questions which I would be delighted to hear the answers to from you my dear cuddly readers as I believe most of you could be described as human almost all the time. The trouble is where to begin! You humans do make life complicated don’t you?

Yes, I understand the reason of this sign is that the bathroom is closed and that by the looks of the rest of the drivel, oops sorry translation, is the cause of the problem!

Now, what does, “for his use put in touch the control of the parkin,” mean? I am a bit afraid that I might not want to hear the answer but if you know do drop me a line at the usual address.

Still if you don’t know what it all means I expect we can, “forgive the inconveniences and graces,” eventually, what do you say?

  1. MMM When I am next in Seville I will have a look out for this 🙂

    • Good plan. How is your marathinning going?

      • I start training properly on 21st with another runner :-). Still waiting to see if I have got in the Seville marathon at the moment. I was not lucky with London :-(. This weekend I am doing The Chick Race which is 10km and apparently a chicken is running LOL 🙂

      • That sounds ever so energetic. As for Chickens they are such show offs aren’t they? Sorry to hear that you didn’t get into the London marathon so no flashy silver blanket. The Seville marathon should be fun, I assume it is in the winter months? Actually we have loads of marathons here, I only know that because they cause a lot of inconvenience for us tram riders.

Do let me know if you make it into the entry list for Seville, I’ll brag about it on my nice little blog for you.

      • 🙂 I will let you know.

      • Can’t wait!
