A great reason for being ‘dirty’   2 comments

Crocodiles obviously don t eat the unwashed in Sri Lanka

Crocodiles obviously don’t eat the unwashed in Sri Lanka!

Just out of interest does anyone know what Crocodiles do when the “go about?” Is it a nautical term? meaning that Crocodiles are using the area to turn just like heavy trucks?

Or is the signwriter suggesting that Crocodiles go around in pairs mugging innocent people as in the 1970’s British Public Information Film whose title was “Watch out, watch out there’s a thief about!”

You humans are very confusing especially when using a language that isn’t your own but I am sure you believe you are rather competent in!

  1. BOL or of course they could mean that one should just “refrain from bathing crocodiles – go about”. Us pups are always getting bathed by the humans, but we’d far rather they just went about and left us in our mucky pup state.

    • Oh yes, how clever of you to think of that. I have to agree being dirty is rather fun isn’t it, sadly it means that we cats have to use our tongues a lot after getting dirty. Hmmm! That sort of sounds rude doesn’t it? Still at least Cats over the centuries have managed to educate humans as to our bathing preferences, as they say in the feline world, “scratch often enough and a human will learn… eventually!”
